So…the blog was down yesterday with technical issues so here is yesterday’s post…specially referred to as a Take Me Back Wednesday…
I’ve been working on it for 9 months. In many ways it’s my baby…(see what I did there). I started dreaming about it last November and have been putting the pieces together ever since. It’s been a LONG time in the making and a large growth step for me as a photographer. Four years ago when I bought my first dSLR, this wasn’t even really on my radar but now, I’m so glad I’ve been able to do it. What an adventure these last few years have been with a camera in my hand and this is just another stepping stone on my journey.
My first stylized wedding shoot!
Some of you may be thinking, “What in the world is that?!?!?” I will forgive your lack of knowledge as I wouldn’t have really known what it was before jumping in to this industry. A styled shoot is a mock wedding, dinner party, shower, etc. that gives brides ideas for their own wedding. It’s on a smaller scale, of course, but provides the general idea for a wedding as well as some hopefully new details! Not to mention, it gives me creative licensing which I LOVE!
I won’t be able to show the majority of the images for a while but stay tuned to see more hopefully soon! A special thank you to all of my wonderful vendors (I’ll post that list soon)! They were wonderful!
