It was the rainiest spring I have ever seen. As a wedding photographer, that is an absolute nightmare. As a bride who is planning on getting married outside, this is a nightmare too. However, even with the rainy day forecast, Morgan and Peter’s wedding day was an absolute dream. In fact, the distant lighting and thundering during the evening made the day have the most romantic feel and miraculously, the rain held off until right after the bride and groom left their reception.
These two are just the greatest! They met in college and were the best of friends before ever starting to date, although he always had an interest in more. Years passed and life took them separate places only to then bring them both back to Dallas at the perfect time. As their friendship deepened, so did her feelings for her best friend. Friendship naturally led into a life long partnership and so the saying really is true, you marry your best friend. Morgan and Peter’s wedding day was one of great celebration as they were joined by friends and family at the most beautiful venue to join together forever. Tears were shed, laughter filled the place and joy was so evident. I felt privileged to be part of such a wonderful couple’s journey to the altar and I can’t wait to see how their story continues to unfold!
Enjoy some of my favorite images from their gorgeous day!

What an amazing bride! She jumped on the bed with her nieces and I thought to myself, she is the coolest bride ever.
