They met at a Super Bowl party thrown by mutual friends. He was immediately taken by how beautiful she was. His kindness to her caught her attention and well, there began a beautiful relationship. It didn’t take long for these two to know that forever was what they wanted. So, one day he picked her up and took her to the park where he had first asked her to be his girlfriend and there, he knelt to a knee and asked for much more. Til death do they part. In the time I’ve spent with these two, it is easy to see that they love each other well and that they found their relationship on loving Christ. He helps her stay grounded and makes it a point to make her laugh every day. A trait that I think is so important for people as they make their way through life. Life is way too short not to laugh a LOT! He says she is the greatest woman he has ever known and that she makes him want to be a better man. She says he is the most faithful man she has ever known, always seeking to learn how to serve her better. Truly, they are better together than apart.
These two celebrated with a morning wedding and a brunch reception which was fun and different for me! I was up and shooting before the sun but it was all worth it. It was a surprisingly chilly day in September but for these two lovebirds, the chill didn’t matter. They were finally getting to become Mr. and Mrs. before their closest friends and family and it was a day that was marked with the sweetest of celebration. I felt honored to be there to celebrate with them and as I always, I considered it such a privilege to document their special day!
Amanda and Ashton, thank you for letting me capture one of the most special days of your lives. I can’t express enough what a joy it was to be there and to see you two vow forever. I know God has great things planned in this journey ahead of you and I look forward to seeing it!
