Well, Internet, welcome to my first installment of Take Me Back Tuesday! Get excited! I sure am.
I must give partial credit to my look alike and BFF-extraordinaire because she did help me brainstorm and come up with the name. Take Me Back Tuesday posts will simply be anything that has some sort of ‘take me back’ factor. Could be something I’ve run across that takes me back to some sweet memory. A place/restaurant/entertainment that I must return to because was just THAT good. An experience I had that I want to treasure and share with the world. Or maybe, just an old picture that I can’t let go of. It’s a wide spectrum I suppose and it may just unfold as we go!
So, for my first installment of ‘Take Me Back,’ I thought it only fitting to show you some pics of our lake day yesterday. Here’s the thing, Internet, it was such a day of rest and relaxation, I’d go back in an instant. My family and I decided last minute to pack our bags, throw some snacks in a cooler, pray that our jet ski would start and head off into the 100 degree heat. It was Labor Day after all and what a fun labor-free day it was too. For a good chunk of the afternoon we would trade off between taking wild rides out on the lake, jumping wakes like there was nothing to lose, and sitting in the shade just reading a good book. For a girl that loves the sun (that’s this girl), it was a perfect day.
So I say, Take Me Back.

So, I may or may not of have been loving the ‘floppy hat’ craze of summer 2012. I am not quite convinced that I can pull it off but I’m content to just tell myself I can. Denial? Maybe, but it’s blissful nonetheless.
