Stephanie + Matt | A Forth Worth Stockyards Engagement Session

Oh these two. Their story reminds me that our journeys can lead us to people we never thought we would encounter. Stephanie is from Michigan. Matt is from Dallas. Yet, they met in Wisconsin. Crazy, right?!? They met almost 7 years ago in their first job outside of college. Five years ago they moved their life to Fort Worth, back to the area he came from. After years of dating and falling in love, he proposed one night over dinner at their favorite restaurant. My favorite part of the story, though, is that he was so nervous, he put the ring on the wrong hand! I love that!

These two made my job so incredibly fun, making me laugh and making each other laugh even more. That is a photographer’s dream and a sign when two people fit well together. After all, what is life without laughter?!?!  We walked around the Fort Worth Stockyards and Botanic Gardens on a beautiful afternoon and just enjoyed documenting their love story. I can’t wait for their wedding next weekend where we will continue the celebration and laughter! Stephanie and Matt, thanks for letting me be a part of your love story and thanks for making me laugh through all of it!
