I don’t get to do senior portraits very often because of my wedding schedule but every so often, one fits into the schedule. I knew I had to make time for this one because Stacie is the sister of one of my 2013 brides and I adore her and her family. You might remember Marissa and Mark’s September wedding. Stacie is seriously one of the sweetest people and I loved getting to work with her during her sister’s wedding. When she asked me to do some senior portraits, I was thrilled. We really wanted to catch some of the lingering autumn colors so we fought to shoot on a day when they were still in their glory. However, the day of the shoot, it was forecasted to rain. With a cold front coming in the next day we decided to push through. It had been sprinkling on the way there but once we started shooting it subsided and the light was SO ‘yummy.’ You can imagine how giddy I was. Not only were the autumn hues to die for but the remnants of the rainy morning created the most gorgeous light all around. We had a blast and it once again made me realize why photography is such a passion of mine. Getting to capture the beauty of life in all seasons. For this sweet girl it marks the ending of a chapter and looking to a new one as she heads on to college. Wishing you the best Stacie as you graduate and start a new journey! Thanks for letting me capture it!
Can you please give me information about rates? I am a senior and I am interested in getting my pictures done in the fall.
