It was a frigidly cold and windy day, but that didn’t change the warmth and happiness these two felt to finally be getting married. They got married on the exact date that they started dating four years ago AND the exact date they got engaged one year earlier. I was blessed to have been there for that moment, hiding behind a tree at the Dallas Arboretum when he knelt to one knee and asked her to be his bride. The date had been so significant in their love story that it was just too special to pass up. So, despite the cold and wind outside, they said their vows on that special day, promising forever.
Mutual friends introduced them and they hit it off fast, having only known each other a month before making it official. She loves how he always keeps her laughing, which is perfect because he thinks ‘her laugh is adorable.’ Believe me these two LOVE to laugh and I LOVE that about them. He makes her excited for the future and he couldn’t wait to start his future with her. They are truly better together than apart and I was so privileged to be there to celebrate with them as they start a new journey together.
Rachel and Jeremy, thank you for letting me fight through the wind and the cold with you two on that Autumn day. It was worth every moment getting to celebrate such a special day! I can’t wait to see how your story continues to unfold as you move forward as husband and wife!
Enjoy some of my favs from their fall wedding!
Happy Friday!
