Lauryn’s Bridals | Chestnut Square Village- Mckinney, TX

The wedding was in a week and a half. Lauryn had been serving faithfully in the heat at Kanakuk Kamps all summer and so we hadn’t had a chance to do her bridals. She flew in from Florida for a Labor Day wedding and quickly started getting her own wedding day plans in order. With no time to lose, we headed to my new favorite location in McKinney, TX. Chestnut Square Historic Village. It’s an old downtown square made up of restored homes from the late 1800s and early 1900s. Perfect for a bridal session. I may have been squealing with delight the whole time. Maybe. It felt like it was 1,000 degrees outside but Lauryn was a trooper. Maybe it was because she was used to the oppressive heat from working at a summer sports camp. Maybe though, and more likely, she was just so excited to be getting married to the love of her life! I can’t wait to share with you the pictures from Taylor and Lauryn’s beautiful downtown Dallas wedding, but until then enjoy some of my favorites from her bridal session!

Happy Wednesday!

(For those of you who are regular followers of the blog, I must apologize for dropping the ball on yesterday’s ‘Take Me Back Tuesday’ post. Life got the best of me but stay tuned for next week’s!)

One of my absolute favorites. Lauryn…you are stunning.

I told her to ‘think of all the things that Taylor would say to make her laugh right now.’ Taylor is never short on jokes.

So I may lose my breath every time I see these two. Seriously gorgeous. And that dress!!!!

Like I said, it’s my new favorite location.

Gah girl. Too much beauty.

The chapel at Chestnut Square. Brides, if you are looking for venues in the Dallas area…this is a great option!!!

So how perfect but Lauryn’s groom is named Taylor. One of the houses just happened to be named ‘The Taylor House.” A convenient coincidence for me…

This is when the light started to get really ‘yummy.’ If you are a previous client, you know what I’m talking about!
