Amanda was one of the first people I met in Dallas and I remember walking away from our conversation feeling that I liked the people I was meeting in my new city. She was sweet, smart, thoughtful and easy to talk to. Fast forward a couple of years and I remember when she started dating Ashton. I hadn’t gotten to see her as often but it was unmistakeable…she was excited about this man. It was written all over her face and she seemed so relaxed and content. That is something I love seeing in my couples…a peacefulness from being with someone you love. I was thrilled when she contacted me after they got engaged and flattered that she would have me there to document their special day. We met, talked over coffee and she relayed their love story. How he had taken her to the place where they had their first kiss and made things official as a dating couple. He had taken her there to make things even more official by asking her to be his bride forever. So romantic and thoughtful. She of course said yes without hesitation and they began planning their lives together. We went back to that place for their engagement session and it was so special. These two made my job easy and fun which is always a plus. I love when couples are so comfortable with each other that it makes portrait sessions so much more natural. I can’t wait to celebrate with these two lovebirds this fall as they become husband and wife.
Until then, enjoy some of my favs from their e-session!
Happy Friday!
