This bridal session was so memorable for a number of reasons. Mostly because Lauren is STUNNING and made my job ridiculously fun and easy. However, it was also memorable because about 5 minutes in to it, I ended up with a giant goose egg on my forehead. Yep, we were in an old historic home with no electricity and therefore no way to see that there was a giant bed post in my way as I bent down to change a lens. I saw some stars but recovered quickly to finish out the session. Immediately, my forehead began to swell and dizziness set in. Lauren, her mother and sisters were gracious not to make too many faces as we chatted throughout the evening. When I sat down later and looked in the mirror, the magnitude of their composure became more evident. Who knew being a photographer was so hard-core?! Seriously. Later, I called a few nurse friends to make sure a concussion wasn’t a possibility and then I iced it like crazy before heading to Greece. Oh the stories I’ll tell my children.
On a much better note, this bride is absolutely beautiful. What makes her even more beautiful though, is that her inner beauty is even greater than her outer. Lauren radiates the joy of the Lord and her love for Him spills out on to all those around her. I absolutely adore her and was so thrilled to be able to celebrate with her and equally as wonderful groom this past Friday as they became husband and wife. I can’t wait to share images from their wedding but until then, enjoy some of my favorites from her Dallas Heritage Village bridal session!
Happy Friday!
