Chaley + Ian | An Ashton Gardens Wedding | Dallas, TX

Ok…so I love this wedding and I love this couple! They met at a wedding of mutual friends, she was a bridesmaid and he played the guitar for the service. He noticed her eyes…a stunning shade of blue. She noticed how handsome he was. Then, he did something drastic. He asked her to dance. If you know Ian, you probably know that he HATES dancing. Yep, but a girl of this caliber required him to do whatever it was necessary to get her attention. They danced and a spark was lit. With practically a whole country in between them, they spent the next year traveling to see each other. Miles didn’t matter when you’re falling in love. A little over a year after their first dance, he knelt to one knee and asked her to be his dance partner for the rest of his life.

Chaley and Ian are one of the sweetest couples I have ever had the privilege of working with! They are both so incredibly kind, giving and gracious. They love their friends and family well, and love each other even better. Their wedding day was such a delight for all involved and one of sweet celebration. I am always so amazed at the amazing couples I am blessed to work with and hope to never take that for granted. Thanks you two for letting me share in such a long-awaited day of joy! Wishing you all the best!

Enjoy some of my favs from their beautiful wedding at Ashton Gardens!

Happy Friday!

I love this second picture of Chaley ‘through the years!’ Now they need to add a picture of her on her wedding day!

LOVE this shot.

Her sweet friends made them a scrapbook.

Chaley, you are simply beautiful.

Ok, I have never met a happier child. Seriously, I need to take him to every wedding! SO sweet!

Maybe my favorite of the whole day.

Such a fun idea!

Chaley’s dad gave one of the sweetest speeches that I have ever heard. Had me and everyone else in tears…and laughter!
