Ali + Daniel | A Fall Rustic Wedding | 7F Lodge & Spa

Oh fall…how I love you. This fall wedding was perfect to start off my season and I spent most of it squealing with delight at the light, the colors, the details, the venue and this wonderful couple! You may remember these two from their College Station engagement session last spring where I had an absolute blast getting to know them and documenting their love story. Ali and Daniel are  so sweet and working with them reminds me yet again, how blessed I am to have the clients that I do.

It was projected to be a cloudy and gloomy day with a chance of rain, but that was not their story. No, the sun snuck out from behind the clouds creating a beautiful fall day and it was an occasion for great celebration as these two pledged their lives to one another in front of friends and family. Their story had begun many years before on a mountaintop in Colorado as their families were vacationing at the same time. As they came down from that mountaintop, they had begun a relationship that would carry more significance than they even realized. After years of dating and falling in love, they joined hands and had yet another ‘mountaintop’ milestone if you will. Once again they left this milestone different than when they had gone up. This time, they came down as husband and wife.

Ali and Daniel, your wedding was a blast for me to be a part of and I’m so thankful to have walked with you all during this season of your love story. I’ve laughed a lot and been privileged to have documented such a sweet story. Thanks for putting up with my giddiness over yummy light and my excitement about that teal truck! You two are the best!

It was at this point that I lost it. With the mix of a teal truck, these two and that yummy light…I was giddy beyond description.
